Microcredentials are time-based, multiple-choice assessments that evaluate knowledge of evidence-based practice with relevant clinical scenarios. There is no specific preparation needed; however, there is a content outline available for each microcredential that includes topics that will be assessed. Reviewing the content outline before taking a microcredential may be helpful for preparation.
It is recommended that you have experience in one of the following areas before earning a microcredential:
- Direct client service
- CEU course training
- Teaching or mentoring
- Conducting or presenting research
- Authoring journal articles, books, chapters, or CE materials
