NBCOT Receives 2025 Innovator Award for myEBPtool
NBCOT is proud to announce that myEBPtool was awarded the 2025 Innovator Award at the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Exchange in Phoenix, AZ. This award acknowledges individuals or organizations for creating transformative, replicable, and impactful new approaches in the professional credentialing industry.
The Institute for Credentialing Excellence is the leading professional organization for the credentialing community, recognizing organizations that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and impact in advancing certification programs nationwide.
myEBPtool was created to address a long-standing challenge in occupational therapy: making research easier to access, understand, and use in daily practice. Developed entirely in-house, the tool bridges the knowledge-translation gap by delivering the latest evidence in a practical, user-friendly format for certificants and students. myEBPtool reflects the strength of cross-functional collaboration within NBCOT. Software development, quality assurance, content expertise, and leadership all played a role in bringing the tool to life.
